DV8 Soccer Club

EST. 1999 - 2012

The Club was founded in 1999 as DV8 Soccer Club by Tono Aspinelli.

The name DV8 was a play on words for the word "deviate." Referring to the way a team
maneuvered the ball up and down the pitch; Tono believed the best often "deviated" away from rigid and structured formations in order to secure victory and wanted DV8 to reflect that style of play.

The original colors of DV8 were white, blue and black.

The team competed in the Peninsula Soccer League (PSL).

For over a decade, DV8 provided a quality training environment for competitive players.

The team competed in the Peninsula Soccer League and numerous other tournaments, including the U.S. Open Cup.

The club had such high player turnout that it had to divide itself into 2 teams. Both teams competed in the highest division of the PSL.

The club also eventually fielded a U23 team that competed in the NorCal Summer League for college players.
