Showcase weekend for JASA RWC

11/6/2017

November 5th was a great day for JASA RWC as both teams were able to display some quality football for the community.  JASA Dos kicked things off against a quality opponent in Goal Busters in round 6 of the Peninsula Soccer League.  The JASA Dos squad quickly took control of the game and controlled the tempo the game early on and rewarded with an early goal from Jay Fremmer.  JASA Dos continued to have a lions share of the ball but were unable to breakdown a stubborn Goal Busters block.  Unfortunately a few quick counters broke the group down and Goal Busters were able to hold onto a 1-2 lead till the end.  It was a great effort from the group and showcased some quality football that we preach.

In the second fixture of the evening the JASA UPSL squad took on Real San Jose.  It didn't take long for JASA not only to dictate play but get on the score board.  After a well anticipated play from defender Will Holtz, Jose Avalos unleashed a shot from outside the area that ricocheted into the back of the net.  Another goal quickly followed as Emanuel Vazquez got on the end of beautifully driven ball from Ivan Maric.  The fans didn't have to wait much longer for the thirds as Arturo Gomez finished from an assist from Wes Otsuki.  Gomez this time turned provider for the fourth as Vazquez got his second of the night.  As the second half kicked off the JASA boys did take their foot of the pedal as Tommy Rodda found the back of the net this time Vazquez turned provider.  Substitute Rene "Chivas" Duarte got JASA's sixth goal of the night with Rodda servicing the assist.  JASA's seventh goal of the night is credited to Charlie Gray.  Final Score line

JASA - 7

Real San Jose - 0

We want to thank all the fans, friends, family and casual spectator for their attendance and support of local football.
