Weekend in Review: JASA and JASA Dos in Action

June 19th, 2017

JASA Dos tasted their first defeat of the season as they travelled to Monterey on an early Saturday afternoon.  After controlling the earlier spells of play they found themselves down 0-1 with quick break from Monterery County FC Elite.  Still dictating most of play JASA Dos got caught out again but this time off of a set-piece.  Only 0-2 down at half, JASA Dos came out the aggressors again but only could only find the post on a number of occasions rather than the back of the net.  The game finish 0-4

JASA's game vs Pajaro Valley United was set to a different tune.  Playing in over 100 degree heat, both teams looked to see how much the heat would affect the match.  But it was JASA who got on scoresheet first by Daniel Aguirre and followed by a goal from Jose Talavera to wrap up a 2-0 half time lead.  It looked as though the heat effected Pajaro Valley United most as the JASA get the goals piling on in the second half to finish the game 10-0.  Goal Scorers in the second half included: Aguirre and Talavera each with another, Ben Chinoy, Sebastian Cole with two, Bobby Crowe with two and David Chavez with the last.
